“I loved the small nature and simplicity of the house. Close to the highway, but you felt like you were miles from anybody!”

“The home and surrounding property were perfect for our stay in the mountains of North Carolina. The owners prepared a bouquet of fresh flowers and cookies for us upon our arrival, which was a very nice surprise hurricane Helene took out the stairs leading down to the creek, which made it a little more difficult than we anticipated to get down to the creek, but we found many other things to do, and there are many places in the area where you can access the water. I would highly recommend this……

“Beautiful place and close to downtown Johnson City. Would definitely recommend. ”

“We we here in June of 2025. The host went out or her way to make everything great for our stay. She left us a surprise in the refrigerator for our stay here during the NHRA event. The home was very comfortable and very clean. Not a complaint one. The home was so cozy and cooled very well and furnished with everything you will need with your stay. I would highly recommend this little house. We loved the country setting there at the little house. Thank you so much for the host Debbie for making……

“Very nice property. If you want private and beautiful location, this is it. Nearest town to buy groceries is Burnsville so get what you need before heading up to property. The only improvement I can think off would be to screen off that corner of the front porch where the bed is….I would have slept out there but scared a spider might get me!”

“It was quiet and very peaceful. The deer were out everywhere in the morning and evening. I would recommend for a slower pace of life. Great place to relax and rewind. ”

“This is an immaculate small house that also has a big deck and lawn which looks out over a beautiful trout stream. Unfortunately I did not bring my fly rod with me because I didn’t read the listing carefully. The trout were rising all around! I was more focused on the location in the tri city area. The place is clean, well appointed and the owners live right next door. I highly recommend it. The photo is from the stream bank. ”
