“We loved the cozy cottage! It IS cozy but also more spacious than it seems in the photos. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 and we appreciated the welcoming gestures such as spices to cook with, coffee, DVDs, extra towels and blankets. The kitcheware is all top quality and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. It's in a quiet, wooded area about a 15 minute drive to Whiteface mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Placid. We would gladly stay here again!”

“From start to finish, everything about this trip was exceptional. The host, Scot, was amenable, checked in on me thoughtfully, respected my privacy, and communicated clearly throughout. The pictures were accurate, though they didn’t fully capture the beauty of the cabin or the surrounding creek. The cabin itself is lovely — perfect for one or two people. It was spotless (truly impressively clean), with easy-to-use appliances, and the view and atmosphere were incredibly comforting.What stood out……

“This place was perfect for our ski and snowboard trip to Whiteface. Close to the mountain for us to get in early. We used each room and all my friends were very comfortable. Even the two adult men that had to share the small cabin had no complaints. The sauna and hot tub were perfect for us to recover our exhausted bodies from full day of shredding the mountain. The foosball table was a hit. The large dinner table fit our whole crew. The heated floors were a delightful surprise and perfect for……

“A perfect place to calm the mind, kick back, and relax. The cabin is exactly as we expected, and perfect for our long-overdue getaway. Even our dog was happy as he met a playmate. They had a great time playing in the lake together. We closed out each day with a soak in the hot tub. And the fishing in the lake is very good. Robin and her family were GREAT hosts and very attentive to our needs and comfort. We look forward to coming back in the fall for another reset.”

“We stayed here for several days on a ski trip to Whiteface. The kids decided this was the best rental property they had ever stayed in! The house is comfortable, beautifully maintained and well appointed, with stunning views of Whiteface Mountain from the porch and front yard. Host was very communicative and responsive. “Very pleased with our stay. House was clean, quite, and private -- just what we want when coming to the ADKs.Only 1 thing to note: the house was a bit dusty in spots, and the water took about 30 minutes to turn over. I suspect the house had been empty for a while, but not likely an issue during busier times of year.Would happily stay here again.”
