“We loved staying here, it was rustic, simple and relaxing. I loved the rich history and the care and thought Ian put into making the cabin enjoyable. “We stayed for our annual girls ski weekend. The rental met all of our needs. ”

“It was so cozy and calm. There is no central heat, so it took a day of burning wood to get the house warm. We also couldn’t figure out how to operate the oven the stove part we got, but not the oven. I just love being in the woods and that cozy cabin. It was lovely.”

“Wonderful stay with access to snow outside the door. Paths to walk on and sledding near by. Home was comfortable. Extra blankets were needed in the night for the kids. Heaters worked but gave off a symphony of knocks and bangs. Kitchen had everything needed for home cooked meals. ”

“Nice property, but some instructional materials about heating, the stove for people unfamiliar with gas cooking, more specifics about trash and recycling. At 75 I’ve stayed in many rentals and I can’t remember a rental that didn’t provide more information. kitchen is well equipped.”

“The property was in a very nice area near Mt Hood and very secluded as advertised. The only issue we had with place was the bedroom in loft and bathroom. Both of which are not meant for people with mobility issues or taller than 6ft. The loft had over a 24-inch step up to access the room. That seems like a very easy fix to add a step into room. The upstairs would still be challenging even with that modification due to steep, narrow staircase and angles of ceiling. I am just under……

“We’ve stayed here before and love this little cabin! It’s so convenient to shops in government camp and a cozy place to come back to after skiing. Unfortunately, there was a power outage in Government Camp coupled with subzero temperatures so we had to cut our stay short, but we look forward to returning next year.”

“The a-frame was so sweet! Very clean, good amenities, nice hot tub and has AC. The drive back is a little hard to find and the road has lots of potholes, but it was worth it!”

“The house worked out great for our family to have access to xc skiing on Mt Hood over the MLK weekend. The boys loved the game room ping pong, darts, and foosball. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is set up to cook and bake. The gas grill might need a tuneup or new cylinder as it wasn’t quite as hot as it could have been. Comfortable and clean, everyone had a good time. ”

The kitchen had everything we needed, hot tub was a great treat, and the wood stove was cozy. Close to ski area, hiking, and restaurants. “We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! Very clean, well organized with many games and activities to do. Close to stores but far away enough to feel like a retreat. We would definitely stay again. Be sure to say hi to the sheep and alpacas, they’re such cuties! ”
