“We were in Bathurst for a dog agility trial. We appreciated the secure yard and proximity to the dog grounds and town. The house was comfortable and everything went smoothly.”

“This cottage was perfect for us as a couple. It was simply, but comfortably furnished, with a well equipped kitchen and completely renovated bathroom. It’s a short walk to the main street, parks etc. Parking out the front or round the back. We loved sitting in the leafy backyard with a cuppa. Things to know: the kitchen only had a single sink, which meant washing up often (no dishwasher), but that didn’t bother us - there are tons of good restaurants in Orange. “Very welcoming clean and homey. Close to shops, parks, RSL and the university. Comfortably accomodate us all. ”

“We loved our two night stay at Chaffcutters Cottage. Janey and Pete were great hosts. Excellent communication. The cottage was quaint and had everything we needed. Canowindra was just a short drive away. A very peaceful and relaxing stay. We will be back on our next road trip north.”

“An absolutely wonderful property. Peace and quiet with only birds and wildlife for company. Wonderful hosts who seemed to have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. “Fabulous little bird singing location, easy access, easy walk to town, comfortable with all you need. Information on hand to enjoy beautiful Mudgee. Relaxing couple of nights allowed my hubby and I to unwind b4 the Christmas festivities Thankyou ”

“My daughter and I with our dog Charlie had a fabulous 3 night stay. Tiny home was perfect and exactly as described. Beds were so comfortable - including the fold out. We got meal packs which made it even easier. Charlie enjoyed the runs in the front paddock. Plenty of walks, sunsets and sitting around the fire. Family were in the other tiny house and they were separate for privacy and your own space but close enough to hang out together. We plan to come back. Highly recommend. ”

“Was originally put off with the BROWN Paint on the external metal as it appeared old and rusted. I was incorrect, the place is new and the paint was new. Just an optical illusion. They supplied Fresh Bread and Local Jams. Being Country people they offered a warm welcome. Down stairs double bedroom, with door, Upstairs was Double Bed and Single Bed, in an open environment. Accomodation was immaculate with all the Kitchen utensils and plates and bowls etc. Great for a country get away”

“We were looking to escape the city and this little cottage was perfect! Great hosts, long walks around the property, collecting eggs on the way back for breakfast... what more could you ask for! Nothing fancy, just right to wind down and relax in the countryside.”

“We were here for a wedding in Mudgee and it was wonderful to return to this little piece of paradise after the event.Well appointed, beautifully linens, well stocked kitchen and a lovely ambiance. Complete with belted Galaways in the Paddock outside. Would love to come back and spend a week working my way through the fabulous collection of books on the bookshelves. Hosts have thought of everything.”
