“Mom and I started our trip here for our Mother’s Day getaway. Beautiful views and water from the beach or restaurant/bar next door. We were in one of the upper apartments. No view of the beach or water due to the mature palm trees. Apartment is basic - minimal accommodations (like wash any dishes & fill the coffee pot from small bathroom sink) for those looking for a great value and basic accommodations. The only mirror is in the bathroom and you need to be tall. I’m 5’5” and mom is a bit……

“Right on the beach in a quiet part of the island. It's a family-run resort, and Betty, Margaret, and Amos made us feel welcome and at home. You can snorkel and kayak right off the beach. If you, like me and my wife, are happy to accept rustic facilities in exchange for a great price, a fantastic location, and a quiet friendly family-run atmosphere, this is the place for you. We had a rental car, and I highly recommend that for a stay of longer than a few days.”

“The owner, Nancy, was beyond superb! She knows everyone and is able to help secure whatever a guest may need - including having a rental car dropped off from the airport at 8 am and knowing the right person with a boat for us to hire for a snorkeling excursion (thanks Steven! He pulled his boat right up to steps on her island). She ensures her guests can easily enter/exit the property via the causeway with no car blocking the pinch point. Such a nice nice woman with the perfect rental apartment!……
