“We had a wonderful stay at Casa Mamma Elvira, which is in the old city. A lovely welcome from Serena, the owner, who showed us to our room which was a beautiful suite and private terrace. There was a fridge with a mini bar and bottles of local wine to purchase. We had a problem with our air conditioning early on which was dealt with very promptly Breakfast was continental style with plenty of choice including local savoury and sweet options which Serena explained to us. ”

“L'Orangerie is a delightful B&B run by its owner, Luisa, who has paid attention to every detail. It's a property dating back to 1871, with an orange grove and imperial staircase, where space is at a premium. Entering the B&B is like stepping from the modern world into an almost dreamlike one. My room was huge, with everything you need to have a good time. Breakfast is prepared on a table inside the room, with toast, homemade orange marmalade, and delicious local pastries.
