“Excellent stay! We really enjoyed how warm and cozy the home was. The dogs loved the fenced in backyard and we enjoyed giving the chickens treats! The neighbors were also very kind. Would absolutely stay here again!”

“In town for our granddaughter’s first birthday party. There were several out of towners staying with our daughter and son-in-law for the party, so we booked a space at the Hruby Doobie Ranch. We knew it with be cool from the photos on the VRBO site, but the pictures did not do it justice! The ranch was a wonderful, peaceful, cozy, unique space! We are so grateful to the Hrubys for sharing their space! Would definitely recommend 10/10! ”

“We loved our stay at Cedar Sunrise! The home was clean, nicely decorated, and had a small view of the lake from the back porch. We also had our own parking space, which was nice. The area was nice and quiet at night. The proximity to restaurants and Crown Point was good too. We can’t wait to come back! ”

Mel, the owner and property manager, was a joy to work with—her communication was excellent, had a handy little check-out list, and she went above and beyond with thoughtful touches that made me feel truly welcome. “The place was perfect for for my visit. My son lives in Rensselaer so I was very close to him. It was clean and there were no problems problems”

“The area was super quiet and pitch black at night. The tent was cute and perfect size. We however did not end up staying. It was super smokey, when I opened the stove to add wood even more smoke poured from it. Being from eastern Kentucky those are what we had and they shouldn't do that, so I'm thinking the pipe was getting clogged. If not for that it would have been super cozy.”
