“Very charming cabin and decorated authentically. We were very comfortable and also treated to an afternoon snack upon arrival as well as tasty breakfast items for each day. We enjoyed a walk down the road by the stream, but unable to canoe in the lake. Our host and hostess were very nice and friendly and very accommodating. Delightful experience. We enjoyed a visit to Bernheim Forest and rode the Bluegrass rail bike in Versailles.”

“The property was a perfect fit for our group of 8 guys in town for Bourbon & Beyond - it was a bit off the beaten track but great for relaxing and reconnecting for a group of 65 year old high school buddies. ”

“Everything about this house was wonderful and the house is amazing. Fully equipped, clean and organized. The kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied and the property was spotless when we arrived. The location is close to great restaurants and shopping. The owner of the property is a wonderful communicator and keeps in contact with you. I would most definitely stay here again! ”

“5 couples stayed 3 nights and we all loved the house. Probably the nicest rental we have stayed in. Beautiful house. Historic charm but very nicely modernized. Well decorated, but comfortable. Very clean. Loved hanging out on both the front porch and back deck as well as the 2 living rooms and we used both kitchens. Everyone had their own room with king size beds and each couple had their own bathroom. We would definitely recommend this house.”

“The Brown Hotel is a beautiful classy historical treasure. The room was spacious and clean. We used valet parking but that was unnecessary since self parking was very convenient. Bar staff was great. The chef even stopped to chat about our shrimp & grits which was so so good. It was a short walk to Fourth Street Live area and most restaurants but it seemed super safe and clean. I would recommend 100%.”
