“This is a lovely old home in an interesting area. Just a little bit on the edge of being uncomfortable to stay there. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly and helpful. ”

“What a wonderful fairytale stay! We had an attic suite for our babymoon. I can not imagine any better place for the occasion. Our suite were decorated in a “hobbit inspired theme” with arched doors and huge bathroom with a bathtub-jacuzzi! Our host Jeremy was very pleasant and kind to let us check in early. We had an electric kettle (it is rare in hotels in the US) in the room and could make our morning and evening tea without leaving the room. So much reminded me some place in Europe. Overall……

“Beautifully restored house with spacious, clean rooms. The staff were all extremely nice and accommodating. They even thought of all the little things that make a B&B special like leaving rain ponchos out for the guests on rainy days and leaving a variety of freshly baked goods out for late night snacks. It was a 15 minute ride to Churchill Downs and 5 minutes from downtown Louisville. But, there were many restaurants and pubs in short walking distance. I highly recommend the Market Street Inn. ”

“Hotel and rooms are very clean, the staff are really friendly, and the area around the hotel is walkable. The hotel is conveniently located next to bars and restaurants (there are some on the same block and across the street). In the room, the bed was comfy and there was plenty of ample lighting and amenities. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.”
