“Six long time friends stayed at Laurel Cottage from 5/16 to 5/19/25. The house is beautiful, clean and well equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has all you need for your stay! The house is in a quiet neighborhood. It is about a 20 minute walk to downtown, but a quick car ride. There are many hiking trails and a bike path to enjoy. The Rabbit Hole is a good place to eat in downtown Harper’s Ferry with a great beer selection. Bolivar Bakery is a 10 minute walk……

“What a nice, history rich house to stay in. You can tell it has old bones but has been maintained and is full of character. Loved the relaxing setting with the river running around the house. “We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. While there are half a dozen or so homes around the cabin,……
