“This was our second visit to Montage Palmetto Bluff and once again it did not disappoint. The hospitality we find here is second to none. Everywhere we went we were greeted with smiling faces. We’d like to give a special shout out to Carmela at the concierge desk who was so incredibly wonderful with our 4 year-old son, Henry. Everything she did and every recommendation she provided enhanced our stay. The natural beauty of this place is beyond compare. We cannot wait to visit again. ”

“Like a small Ritz-Carlton, but better managed with an almost Asian level of service, which in my experience of luxury hotels worldwide over the last 40 years qualifies this property to be not just a 4 star, but closer to a 5 star, and certainly the best hotel on Hiltonhead Island (all the Marriott properties on HH are pretty mediocre, which is unfortunate for me, given I'm a loyal Bonvoy member). “Room is old, bathtub is rusted, caulking around toilet was black. The room smells like no one lives in it for a while. While it rained, the water overflow to the door. The only pleasant thing was the staff was really nice and helpful. I don't think I will go back again unless they make some improvement”
