“The location is perfect!! Just next to the beach. Staff from the desk is nice. But, the toilet paper seemed to be put there forever. It had stains on it. Overall was nice.”

“Great location! Beautiful beach right down the steps. Loved the quiet atmosphere of the pool area. Many places to relax. We had a car, so drove to see the coast, from Sagres to Tavira. Stopped at many towns along the way. You must visit Praia do Rocha, Tavira, Sagres, Salema. Spent one day golfing at Sagados. From the course you can see the beach and boardwalk of Salgados. Porto Bay Hotel had lots of free parking, lovely breakfast and dinner at Basilico. We did not do the buffet dinner during……

“Dette er det optimale stedet å bo når man skal være på Quarteira-stranden, men pass på å få et rom mot sjøen så man kan ligge med balkongdøra åpen og høre bølgene slå mot land. Det var dessverre ikke ledig da jeg bestilte i siste øyeblikk. Superior rommet var stort og alt var rent badet og dusjen og alt var godt rengjort. Senga var diger og gikk over hele den ene veggen, det var veldig fint og føltes luksuriøst. Men madrassen kunne vært mykere for en skandinavisk person. Personalet var høflige……

“Really beautiful renovation of the hotel. Brilliant reception and spa staff. The waiting staff at both the pool and restaurant was a big let down unfortunately. Understandably, the hotel is in its “soft launch” phase but breakfast time was woeful. Took too long to get orders taken for drinks, then even longer to receive a coffee - often received after we’d finished eating. Cutlery wasn’t on the table and it arrived with the drinks which meant you’d be eating food from the buffet but have no……

“Voor een 3-sterren hotel hebben wij, een ruime kamer gehad alleen de 2x een 1 persoonsbed was niet erg handig als je samen wilt slapen. Beiden bedden kon je wel naar elkaar toe schuiven, maar je gaat de split in het midden houden. Niet erg handig maar de bedden waren wel lekker niet te hard of te zacht ”
