“A beautiful countryside location. A calm and quiet Shouse. We enjoyed the stay and also got to enjoy Decorah during the day.”

“The house was spacious and lovely, just as pictured online. There was ample room for our group of 26. The outdoors were also beautiful and inviting, as pictured. We had a pickleball tournament (organized and equipped by the kids), volleyball, hide-and-seek (always a favorite) and more. No WIFI or working TV kept the kids off-screen for a few days, but they hardly noticed!”

Main bath with tub and shower is up a narrow stairwell (not easy for a person with limited mobility), but we were made aware of it in advance. Was really hot outside during our stay, but the house was cooled down well and stayed comfortable.”

“This unique place has it all: charm, class, comfort, beauty, and fun. When you first walk in, you are greeted with a gorgeous staircase leading to most of the rooms. Our room was spacious, with a luxurious bathroom. The gourmet kitchen is equipped for anything and everything with seating for eight. The adjoining dining room has a large table with additional seating and windows lining two walls. And clean! This VRBO was impressively clean! I have to say the jail was a little eery after dark, but……
