“The Arc Harrogate is a small but fantastic hotel. There were detailed instructions sent to me about everything before I arrived and I had a lovely warm welcome from the owner. The parking is on street parking, but the hotel provided the necessary permits, complete with a photo of how to display them and details of what time the parking ran out. The room was spotless and very well serviced. Every day the bathroom was cleaned, the tea and coffee supplies topped up and so on. The communal……

“Had a lovely one night stay. Richard and Karen were very good hosts. Room was nice, with a very comfortable bed. Good facilities, en-suite. Nice touch was the fresh milk in the fridge, just outside the room for tea and coffee, along with a couple of bottles of water. Also had a couple of bars of chocolate on the hospitality tray! Although property is in centre of town it is on a small side road and is very quiet. Parking is nearby, which Richard directs you to and is very reasonably priced.……

“Great location with wonderful Victorian era architecture and vibes. The staff were absolutely fabulous, especially the bartender. The food is delicious (the pizza at the bar was the best I had in the UK!), with great selection at the breakfast buffet. Comfortable bed, small bathroom, but that’s to be expected in an older hotel. Love the history! Byron stayed there once upon a time. Strong recommend if you’re in Harrogate.”

“Lovely country pub with good beer and food in a small, quiet village. Nice, well kept garden with seating. Excellent room, a good size and very well appointed with a nice bathroom. Highly recommended. ”
