“The Old White Lion was a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful; the restaurant has a vegan burger on the menu, which made things easy for me; and the view out my bedroom window onto the moors was very cool. The Inn is steps away from the Brontë Parsonage, as well as the public footpath that leads onto the moors. The Main Street of Haworth is lovely, but the walk to the Brontë waterfall is a memory for life. I did it early—wanting to see the sunrise on the moors—and it was……

“It is comfortable, older hotel. Quirky even. Everyone very helpful, nothing a bother. Bedding and towels excellent quality. Breakfast was freshly cooked, and superb. Plenty of choices. Service excellent. Dinner was fabulous, in presentation and taste, again cooked to order. A busy evening function, but residents came first. Will definitely stay again.”

“Local for Bronte experience. Great host. ”

“Great location for the Bronte Parsonage Museum - just a 10 minute walk - with the shops and bars/cafes of Main Street just a 3 minute walk. Lovely big park directly opposite. House was small but very clean and bed was comfortable. Only small things really - the kitchen bin would not stay closed, which may have contributed to the slightly musty smell. In the bathroom, the towel radiator is not securely attached to the wall, and if the bath is slippy, there is then nothing to hold on to as you……

“The room was compact, clean, had a small TV & coffee making facilities, there is a lounge area & kitchen on the same floor that we were on, although we didn’t use it I can see that would be useful, but beware if your not too mobile, there are a lot of steep stairs, also pub below is open till 12 and we did encounter a lot of noise on Sunday night, so if you’re to bed early, be warned. Bed was comfy and has a nice big shower in bathroom. ”
