We used the back deck to watch the freighters. Easy access to Brimley state park and Iroquois lighthouse for swimming. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for meals and family time. We arrived during a heat wave and used the portable AC very effectively but the latter half of the week, it was open……

“Our stay at the Eagles nest was incredible. The pictures online did not do this place justice. The beach was pleasant and the lake was very accommodating for swimming and fishing and kayaking. The cabin itself was comfortable, clean and more spacious than we expected. We had a group of six and had more than enough space. The host were pleasant and easily reached for any needs that we had. “We absolutely loved it at Sweet Winds Farm. The location was perfect for our planned trip to Mackinac Island. Super convenient and easy. The home itself was clean, perfect amount of room for our family of 6, but also cozy and warm feeling. Not great cell service, but that was a blessing. It felt like a step back in time a little to just enjoy family time and make breakfast together before heading out for the day. “The house and setting are beautiful. Very relaxing! The house was well equipped with some seasonings, tin foil, baggies, paper towels, toilet paper, firewood and more. We stayed Mid July with pretty decent weather for the U.P. The owner was great with communication when we had an issue connecting to WIFI and the problem was quickly resolved. We would highly recommend this property to anyone viisting the area. ”
