“Villa Appiani is at a great location to get to center of Florence without being right in the center of it. It's a quite location where you can relax after a day of sightseeing and they have a great resturant. Also they provide shuttle service to the entrance of Florence at no extra cost. It's a bit of a walk but worth it. They have two drop off locations close to Florence or midway at another popular sightseeing stop. “This is an excellent small hotel with 4 rooms. The rooms, the garden and the pool is excellent, really something. But it is not run as a hotel with cleaning service, and the breakfast is really not worth much. A great place with an unexploited potential”
