“Large cabin, very clean and well stocked. Secluded location and privacy was just what we were looking for. Loved the screened in porch, fire pit, decor, and comfort of the property. We requested the kayaks and some of us enjoyed a quiet ride down the creek. Bathtub faucet dripped persistently and the cabin loft area was stuffy. We thought the listing stated there was air conditioning- at least on the VRBO listing it was included. There was some kind of older air conditioning unit upstairs that……

“Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus.”

“We loved our stay at this cozy cabin. Lori was easy to reach and allowed us an early check in since we were arriving into town early Friday morning. She also allowed us a little later check out on Sunday. There is a private dock which we used the entire time for fishing. Lisa, her husband, and her family were staying at the home next door but very quiet and respectful so didn’t bother us one bit. The only downfall was there was not WiFi available as listing suggested, however Lori did give us……

“Beautiful lakefront property and a great place to stay. The hosts are just the best. Super friendly and so accommodating . It felt like we were staying at a lake house with family. The lake water was comfortable and vibe is very chill. It exceeded our expectations. If you want to rent a boat you can rent from Moosejaw Resort. The owners there are super friendly as well. Just reserve well in advance to get the dates/ boat type you want.”

“We had a great time! We were originally planning to go tent camping and due to thunderstorms in the forecast we canceled that reservation and found this cabin available. We are SO glad we did! The cabin is small but very much everything we needed. Yes there were cobwebs and spiders and the cabin is not fully updated but truthfully, I believe if it was - the charm would be lost! I believe the owners live across the way in a home on the property and they were kind enough to provide us with dry……
