“Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus.”

“GPS directed us to the property. Convenient parking. Cabin is old, as described. Everything clean and in working condition. Way more space than we needed. We had the windows open for lake breezes during the day and kicked on the heat to take the chill out of the cabin in the morning. Kitchen was stocked for preparing meals. Groundskeepers are friendly and attentive. Waking to loon calls beats city noises! We will check here for availability in the future. ”

“Very clean, very cozy, very new cabin right on the lake with it's own dock! Unfortunately, while we were there, there was a very significant algae bloom on the lake (looked exactly like pea soup), and we were told not to swim in it. HUGE disappointment as that's specifically why we spent the extra $ to rent on the lake! Not the owner's fault, but just make sure you call ahead to see about the water quality before you make a commitment! It's a lot of $ to spend to not be able to use the lake.……

“We came up for the Fall Color Run. The location was great! The cabin was clean and cozy. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck over looking the lake. We seen a lot of eagles and listened to the loons. I would definitely recommend this place. ”

“We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin by the lake! The location was absolutely perfect—right by the UTV trails and just a quick 2-minute ride down the trail to a great local bar that serves delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cabin itself was super cute, clean, and comfortable—everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The views of the water were beautiful, and one of the best surprises was that there were no mosquitos thanks to the property being sprayed! It made enjoying the……

“Beautiful lake cabin spot. We just wanted to get away for the weekend and it was awesome. Able to run into town quick as well! Great accommodations and Michael was phenomenal to communicate with. Will go back! ”

“My daughter ran her first marathon in Minocqua and finished in 4 hours and 13 minutes!! Property was very clean and it had a beautiful property to enjoy the quiet outdoors. Boys did some fishing as well! Did not have any hot water - otherwise this place was a 10! Thanks for sharing!”

“It's hard to believe that a cabin looks even better than what the pictures represent. This is a gem of a place, just off 70. 2 bedroom/2 bath and a loft space overlooking the living room (where my friend and I did yoga every morning). Highly recommend this place and we hope to get back here as well.”
