“Wonderful clean space. Loved staying here. ”

“Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus.”

“We loved our stay at this cozy cabin. Lori was easy to reach and allowed us an early check in since we were arriving into town early Friday morning. She also allowed us a little later check out on Sunday. There is a private dock which we used the entire time for fishing. Lisa, her husband, and her family were staying at the home next door but very quiet and respectful so didn’t bother us one bit. The only downfall was there was not WiFi available as listing suggested, however Lori did give us……

“Seems like it is a new VRBO, the property is nice, great location. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING. Maybe they are working on it. However half of our occupants were miserable and overheated, which made for a less than ideal vacation. Yes there were a couple box fans. The front door handle fell off Saturday, still was not fixed by the time we left tuesday. There is no actual private water access, the shoreline needs to be trimmed down and some sort of dock added, or not, but the shoreline is……

“We had a great time! We were originally planning to go tent camping and due to thunderstorms in the forecast we canceled that reservation and found this cabin available. We are SO glad we did! The cabin is small but very much everything we needed. Yes there were cobwebs and spiders and the cabin is not fully updated but truthfully, I believe if it was - the charm would be lost! I believe the owners live across the way in a home on the property and they were kind enough to provide us with dry……

“A little bit of a hunt to find the key. The owner was very responsive. Place was clean and welcoming. They were kind enough to have condiments and some bottles of water for us. Wish we actually stayed longer to enjoy the lake and hummingbirds a bit more!”

“We enjoyed our time on Somo lake, the paddle boat was also a lot of fun. This was our first real trip with our 8 month old puppy, cabin 1 was ideal for a dog and she learned to swim as well. Huge bonus was the water was clean so Echo didn’t require a bath. Good experience!”

The hosts made sure there was ample water and firewood.The property was beautiful with plenty of options to keep you busy.Bugs were definitely bad, but wearing the right clothing and using bug spray, worked well.I did find some ticks on my dog, but this is the woods and it’s to expected.I will definitely be back!”

“Clean, with great amenities for our fishing trip. Exactly as pictured and a good fit for our party of 6. Upstairs bathroom a big plus, tho water pressure limited showering up there. Responsive and helpful host. So glad we found this listing!Panfish aplenty in mid July.... Didn't see a bass or a muskie but did land a nice pike! ”

“We spent a week with our family and the cabin was absolutely perfect! The weather was not the greatest lots of rain and storms, but we made the most of it. Caught plenty of fish right from the dock and also from our boat. Enough fish for two fish fry’s for 6 people. Skied, tubed and kayaked in between the rain. The view and water frontage can not be beat! The kids loved having their own space in the bunkhouse. Peggy was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. The only thing……
