“Had some bad luck with the boating weather, but kids still had fun with plenty of supplied activities. Board games and tennis/basketball court”

“Peaceful, beautiful property, nice walking path, lots to explore. We saw deer, squirrels, woodpeckers, birds, beaver/muskrat, and some fish. Stories & s'mores around the firepit each night. Fished by boat and canoe. Also kayaked. Great kitchen area and outdoor grill. Had foosball champion competition, played games, watched movies, went to Mercer for fish fry, explored by boat and on foot. Great weather, no mosquitos till last night of stay. Lots of family bonding.”

“This property is perfect for a large family to comfortably enjoy the living quarters. The 8 bedrooms are at one end of the building allowing “the littles” to go to sleep earlier than the adults with no need to worry about making too much noise to disturb their slumber. Both the main level and lower level have a family room with a tv and the lower level has a pool table. A wine/beer cooler in the bar area, in addition to the fridge, came in handy. The lake isn’t crowded with fellow boaters so we……

“Adorable , clean and updated cabin. Everything you needed was supplied. The views were amazing. Definitelywill come back. Oh and the beach is sandy and shallow for little kids but too shallow for fishing off the dock. I give it a 10!!”

“We had a family reunion up in northern Wisconsin and i needed a place that was close to my uncles place but also allowed dogs and this place was perfect! It was close to everything from Walmart, to downtown, shops! The house was very nice and perfect for 3 adults and my pup. It was great having a fenced in yard so she didnt need to be on a tie out and she was at home during our stay! the house was very clean inside and out! the deck off the siding doors was perfect for morning coffee. the cabin……

“Comfortable cabin on a lovely little lake. Perfect for the canoe our hosts provided. The property is close to town as well as to a myriad of hiking and biking trails. We loved our week there. ”

“This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Nice lake, no skiers, great deck, good beds, good pier, all the kitchen hardware you could need and just a cute, cozy atmosphere about the whole thing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the owner requires you take your garbage with you. I REALLY don’t like added requirements put on me after I get there. Put it in the listing. ”

“Overall impressions in these categories: House: Beautiful. Big enough for our group of 13, kids and adults. Kitchen is more than great. Screened porch is better than good. Dining area large enough we could all eat in the same area. Rec room including table tennis was used a lot.Water: Fishing was slow but that's no one's fault. Kayaks were used a lot everyday. The shallow sandy bottom was amazing for our kids to play and swim in. The dock held our two boats easily. Stairs to water are not……

“The cabin was exactly as pictured. Clean, ready to go. As a heads up, you do share the stairs down to the docks with the twin cabin that is next to you. Not a big deal for us at all. We were able to pull our boat up to the dock (launch is on Gunlock lake and you have a little, shallow, channel you'll need to go through to get to Shishebogama), which was super nice..”
