“First getaway with our dog. Love this cabin in the woods. Had everything you could possibly need. Beautiful location in the woods. Chris responded to any questions immediately. Would love to come nack to do more hiking, etc. when weather is more cooperative!”

“If you are looking for a quiet, slow weekend with the most beautiful scenery, this is it! I actually ended up getting engaged during the time we were up and it was the perfect place to celebrate! 4 of us were able to stay in the home comfortably, cook breakfast every morning, grill dinner every night, and enjoy our days by the lake. It is a quiet neighborhood on a scenic lake and we could not have enjoyed it more! There were guests as the other house in the property, though it still felt……

“Lovely stay, relaxing. It was nice that it was on a small lake and the back deck was special. What impressed me most was that it was remodeled and everything seemed practically new. Big enough for a small family, nice swimming area; we relaxed and did things in the area. You are close to other houses there, but we never saw anyone. Very quiet location. you!”

“The description and the pictures are very misleading. We drove up walked in and left immediately! THERE IS NO A/C . When you stay in a home especially when it is 95 degrees outside it becomes a sauna. The entire place is so small. I could touch both walls standing in the middle of the room. The pictures of the lake are very misleading. its' a freaking swamp. Also there "boat" they offer was filled with water half sunk into the lank and covered in pond scum. Also not to mention you are one block……

“This is our 3rd stay at this cabin on Manson Lake enjoyed the beautiful fall colors and serenity of having the lake to ourselves. Hiking paths at Bradley Park and Bearskin Trail were aglow with color. Love this quaint cottage, its many amenities and its location. ”

“We loved this cabin. Very spacious. Comfortable beds, extra pillows / blankets. Wifi was strong and reliable, even sitting outside on the patio. I loved drinking my coffee outside, overlooking the lake, listening to the birds. Appreciated the code lock door, no need to look for or keep track of a key. Check out was easy. There is electricity out on the patio, and down by the lake, which was great. Of note, there are steps ( about 20?) to walk down to the lake. Could be difficult if someone……

“We came up for the Fall Color Run. The location was great! The cabin was clean and cozy. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck over looking the lake. We seen a lot of eagles and listened to the loons. I would definitely recommend this place. ”

“Great place. Sleeps a bunch. Great boat slip/dock area. The slip is perfect for a wake/ski boat. Plenty of outdoor space! Proximity to town is great! We are renting again next year!!!!”

“It was snug for more than a couple of folks and gear but sufficed for a place to overnight. Parking was easy to get in and out with a trailer and location was convenient to town. Host was promptly responsive to inquiries. Nice setting on the lake.”

“We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Artist's Cove. Beautiful view of the lake in a tranquil environment. Used the kayaks and ate breakfast on the deck. The cottage was well appointed with comfortable furniture and—true to its name—abundant aesthetically pleasing artwork. Bathrooms were fine and the bed was so comfortable that we slept in every morning! The kitchen is fully functional and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. Plenty of restaurants, grocery and things to do within a 5-20 minute……

“We appreciated the quiet of no-wake lakes and the use of the 14’ boat. The bass fishermen had moderate luck - all largemouth. The 2-cabin arrangement wasn’t ideal - we would have preferred a single place with 2 bathrooms rather than being separated ok. The smaller cabin wasn’t as clean and wasn’t stocked with bath towels..”

“It's hard to believe that a cabin looks even better than what the pictures represent. This is a gem of a place, just off 70. 2 bedroom/2 bath and a loft space overlooking the living room (where my friend and I did yoga every morning). Highly recommend this place and we hope to get back here as well.”
