“The house can accommodate a large group easily. We could not have asked for better weather. The biggest disappointment was the area of Lake Huron. If you are looking to run and dive into Lake Huron this is not the place. The bottom here is all rocks that you cannot walk on. Thank goodness we brought with us paddle boards which are grand children rowed around on.Goose poop was everywhere on the property.Maybe time of year for them! Outside could use a good power washing. “We came here for a short getaway for my 50th birthday. I just wanted to be on the lake and this cabin was the perfect place. We arrived and it was pouring rain and so so windy. I thought for sure it would be cold and damp inside. But it was perfectly dry and nice and warm! The next day it cleared up and we got to enjoy going on the deck and watching the swans and the freighters. That night the sky was clear and the stars were amazing. It would be great to stay at this property during a meteor……

Cozy, senior-pet and toddler friendly because it only had a few steps. Nothing fancy about the house, but that’s what we wanted.
