“Our party of 12 came together from all across the country and this location to celebrate the big 4-0 by touring some distilleries on the bourbon trail. This home was in a prime location to be able to fit in some of our favorites in the same day. There was more than enough room for all 12 of us; the cabin is stunning, cozy, and inviting; and their customer service is on point. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of the memories that will last all of us a lifetime!”

“The cabin in the property are both beautiful and extremely well kept. The owners are wonderful and truly care about the experience of their guests. They live nearby on the property so they are close if you need anything. However, they made sure that the cabin was well stocked even with snacks!”

“Had a great weekend at Captain's cabin. we immediately started a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed the quiet popping and warmth of the fire all weekend. Tammy's breakfasts are outstanding. Found some fun things to do in town when we finally pealed ourselves from the cabin.”

“Let’s start with the negative…I am only allowed to rate the property on 5 stars, instead of a WELL DESERVING 10!!! This place is amazing! The home (not house, there is more than enough character to go around which puts it on another level as far as I’m concerned) is located conveniently off the highway and is situated on meticulously maintained grounds. “This property is stunning, quiet, well-kept and offers a wonderful gathering place to spend time with family and friends. The house is gorgeous and well-stocked with all the essentials for a relaxing get away. The game room was loved by all and definitely a plus for the colder months when outside activities are minimal.
