“We stayed at this lovely and very accessible property during February and it was very quiet in the town during our entire stay. I am not sure it’s like that around other peak times like Christmas so keep that in mind. We loved the location of the property less than a mile to a grocery store, restaurants, public transportation, and the ski slopes. The property was well equipped with everything you need. We’d recommend it for single, couples or families. ”

“Very friendly landlord. Nice house with all amenities. Larger Mosquitowindows would be helpful, however. Beautiful location but you should be aware of three minor issues: - Good supermarkets and restaurants are 35km away - Many trees and northerly location limit sunny spots to morning and early afternoon - next holidayhouses are close (ca. 200m), neighbours can be heard”

“The apartment is clean and nice, but some things could have been improved: the bathroom might benefit from the bath matt, the sauna was amazing, but there was no working light in it. Also, for 4 nights it would have been nice to have more towels. As lso, the sauna does not really heat up in 30 minutes, you need a good hour - but it was lovely! I did not realized that the property did not have a wifi, just so used to having wi-fi everywhere, I could not even imagine it. We dealt with it, but I……

“Das Haus ist völlig ok und liegt gut, nicht zu nah nicht zu weit, zum Zentrum Rovaniemi. Die Einrichtung ist eher schlicht aber für uns noch akzeptabel. Parken für bis 3 Autos vorm Haus ist auch gut. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war nett. Alles in allem empfehlenswert, wenn man etwas flexibel mit dem Komfort ist.”

“Mökki on iso, mutta pohjaratkaisu kömpelö. Pesuhuone on turhan iso ja vessa aivan liian pieni. Mökki itsessään on mukavalla paikalla ja viihtyisä. Auton saa aivan oven eteen. Vuodesohva oli ihan hyvä, mutta erilaisella pohjaratkaisulla mökkiin saisi parisängynkin.”

“We had a very nice and relaxing time. Our son didn't understand why this house is rented out to other people. He would stay there forever. :-) We were there in the low season in autum, which is probably the most “boring” time in Lapland. But this house was a unique place despite the gray weather. It offers everything your heart desires and was even more beautifully than the photos showed. We will definitely come back.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Sipukka. The place is as described, very homely and well equipped for a stay in the quiet, fresh air of Lapland. We took advantage of the saunas combined with dips in the lake, did yoga on the dock, used the boat with an electric engine for picnics on the lake and took strolls in the forests around to look for the many reindeer. They sometimes come for a visit to the property, too. It was super-relaxing and exactly as we hoped it would be.”
