All calls for all hotels in the group go through central reservations whom I called and was put on hold for half an hour. But everything other aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent. “Tarbert is such a sweet little town. The castle ruins were magical. The hotel itself - very convenient, easy parking, incredibly nice and very hardworking staff. The meals were SUPERB! The room was in good condition. The bed was a bit on the soft and saggy side. Great view though over the water. Hallways are clearly under ongoing repairs. The dinner dining area is quite nice. Breakfast area could use a refresh (especially that first booth seat). Overall, the Anchor Hotel was a great 2 night……

“I had a lovely stay at the guest house! It's a beautiful, cozy house, with charming decoration, helpful staff and lovely details (I loved the complimentary homemade cookies in the room!). My only note would be that the bedroom I was in was not super spacious and its bathroom (separate but easily accessible across the hall) was extremely narrow so not sure how that would work for bigger people or couples. I would stay here again though, especially in this season with the gorgeous trees in bloom……
