“This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!”

“We all immediately felt relaxed upon walking through the door. The place just has a cozy feel. Would recommend to anyone that's looking to decompress and just hang out. You must go to Puck's Glen though, which will be more than enough exercise for your stay.”

“We had such a lovely trip! The cottage was beautiful, clean and very cosy. There was everything that youd need or want including board games, tv, access to local ammenities ect. It was a huge bonus for us that the host allowed our dogs to stay too, they are a huge part of our family so getting to take them made our trip extra special. The garden at the cottage was beautiful too.The beds were so comfortable, usually i have trouble sleeping if im staying somewhere new- this wasnt a problem at……

“The property was very nice for staying a few days with friends. There were some small issues with locks and cabinets breaking but overall not too bad. “A home away from home. Our second stay at this fantastic lodge within 3 months. Our first trip was as a family with 3 young children and the most recent trip with my father and sister. Everything you could need ever need inside and outside from children’s colouring and games to condiments to views of the sea and the most beautiful starry nights. A welcome bottle of wine and chocolate on arrival and Kris was a fantastic host. Thank you very much, hopefully we will be back again very soon”

“We arrived to the property and received a warm welcome with lots of thoughtful extras. The property is immaculately presented and full of homely touches which make it a real pleasure to stay in. The location of the property was ideal for our day trips exploring the local area. We had beautiful weather throughout our stay too which just enhanced our break. “We had a great experience! The view is absolutely stunning. You can watch the sunrise from the porch and the main sitting area. “The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan.
