“ The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again.”

“**Peaceful Stay in a Beautiful Setting** We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Swiss Mountain Village in Blowing Rock, NC. The property is beautiful and peaceful—tucked away in the mountains with a charming, rustic feel. Our accommodations were cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing night. “The cabin was as described, was clean and well-equipped. Only negative, and it was not the fault of the property, was that there was a lot of work being done on the river which caused it to be quite silted while we were there. We made the best of it though and enjoyed the visit. ”

“Even though the weather wasn’t great, the cabin was clean and cozy. Screened in porch was so nice to just sit, read and enjoy the rain. We were hoping to get to use the fire pit outside but winds prevented that. Will keep this on our list of places to stay in the future.”

“Cabin is everything you want in a mountain cabin; beautiful setting in quiet surroundings, fire pit area and just-right outside lighting. Inside the cabin is surprisingly spacious, and the kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home! I would absolutley recommend anyone stay here; just be sure your car can handle 10 degree incline gravel roads!”

“Fantastic trip! Stayed 2 nights and wished we could stay longer! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The property was wooded and so quiet.
