““The Last Resort” is a fantastic home for a large group. All rooms are spacious and comfortable. The view from the back deck is lovely. The kitchen is amazing, easily accommodating two or more cooks at once, and there is a large bar area downstairs with a second full sized fridge. Our group of adults attending the MerleFest had a lovely stay and wished for more days just to enjoy the cabin. ”

“This house was very spacious & above all, clean. I loved the view & the location was perfect. I take my son snow tubing every year for his birthday & knowing how short of a walk/drive to the snow tubing place was just the icing on top. “This house was just perfect for my family (with young adult children) to meet up for a summer vacation. The house had everything we needed and was spotless! While there were plenty of things to do in the area, we also enjoyed just hanging out and enjoying the house, cooking meals, playing pool, making smores and enjoying the views and nature! It is an easy drive to Boone and Blowing Rock for dinner. Banner Elk is not far but the roads are a bit scarier at night.”
