The property was well appointed with thoughtful touches such as frequently used spices in the kitchen and long matches for the firepit, grill and large stone fireplace. A variety of comfortable seating choices for meals and leisurely discussions in the open air. A great place for a couples weekend with friends as each of us had our own "cabin". “We stayed here for my daughter's birthday weekend. Boone had a lot of snow and ice the week before, and neighbors helped my husband get up the road to the house. The VIEW was beautiful! The house is huge, and there was plenty of space for my daughters' friends, my sons' friends and my husband and I. It was a great location. We went sledding on Strawberry Hill (GREAT experience!), and went to Hawks Nest tubing. The kids loved the hot tub, the pool table, the hang out room downstairs. We……

“Stayed here with a group of friends for the weekend. It was an excellent time! The location is great, in a small development with a good paved road. It's five minutes or so to downtown Lansing and it's great spots and about 15 or so to downtown West Jefferson. Easy to get to from Raleigh and Charlotte, where our group was coming from. Communicate with the host was the best I've had with VRBO. The house felt roomy enough for the group and the kitchen helped us produce gourmet meals. The best……
