“A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. My husband is a severe asthmatic and is allergic to feathers. When we realised that the pillows and duvet were feather and spoke to the housekeeping staff, they went out of their way to help us. They changed all the bedding and ensured that there were no feathers in the room. Special thanks should go to Suzanne and the blond lady who organised this for us. “Large house with plenty of rooms but apart from the odd door closing the only other noise was from the Minster hourly bells . We were in room 5 with a nice view over the park. Only negative was the bed was not comfy. But all in all a reasonable stay.”

“First time staying here for one night, check in was friendly and helpful. Room was a little dated but nice and clean also WiFi was good. Didn’t try the main restaurant in the evening but did have breakfast in morning of which was continental and it was good and staff were nice and pleasant. I would personally stay again ”

“All the staff are all really friendly and helpful, they responded my email quickly before my stay. I was supposed to get a mail delivered at the hotel and they tried their best to keep looking for my mail. It was really helpful for them to do so. The hotel room is clean and spacious. The location of the hotel is good, supermarket is just next to it and town centre is within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to all.”

“游泳池和gym好舒服，晚上和第二日早上都有去，更衣室設備齊全，有按摩池和桑拿。房間有點熱，但有配備額外的風扇，沒有很辛苦，感謝酒店晚上提供免費的雪條。停車位已包在房價內，如果付費的話是£5一日。窗台有點髒，房內也沒有內線電話，有一點不方便。但主要為了游泳池而來，而且房價便宜，整個旅程過得很不錯，前台服務很好，非常友善。不用自助入住，有職員為客人check in。”

“I’ve stayed here several times and it never disappoints. Staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are clean, roomy and clean. The gym is good and the bars in the lobby and upstairs are great. Breakfast is excellent. Location is great for the shops and train station, a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend. ”

“Beautiful historic house set in peaceful countryside. The owners and staff were very friendly and attentive. We also booked the Sunday lunch which was delicious and spent the evening sitting by a log fire in a snug room with a cheeseboard and bottle of wine. Our bedroom was stunning. We only had an overnight stay but would love to go back for a longer stay one day.”
