“We absolutely loved Debra's place! It was the perfect setting for a weekend getaway. The cabin was well adorned and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the amazing Lake Wallkill community. We felt like we were immersed in nature but at the same time we're close to Mountain Creek resort for biking and many stores/great restaurants. Being right next to the lake was great for enjoying sunrises and sunsets too and it was a quick walk from the front door. Debra was an outstanding host-her……

“Very clean house, nice kitchen stocked with snacks. We had a nice stay here. A chair needed repair but did not affect our stay, and the host assured us that the repair was already scheduled. Will likely use again next time we visit our daughter ”

“Property is a little dated. Floors were rickety, I'm sure the neighbor beneath was annoyed. Beds were uncomfortable and the pillows flat. The biggest concern was when we learned the water in the neighborhood is not is non potable. That's partly my fault for not reading the entire manual before arrival but to then expect your guests to have pick up additional water for coffee, cooking, brushing your teeth, and for hydrating that kind of makes for a less than desirable experience. “Stayed for three days with my partner. Cabin is a small place with a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The size wasn’t an issue since it was expected. You’ll maneuver yourself through if you’re a bigger person. It is next to a running stream that you can hear from the bedroom (very calming). Note: it is about 20-30 yards away from a main road, so any traffic that goes through there you will be able to hear. It wasn’t that much but it’s not a being secluded in the woods quiet.”

“The listing, if anything, undersells the quality and cleanliness of the property. Spacious, well-appointed rooms, comfortable locations for cooking, movie watching, or conversations by the fire. The hosts could not have been more gracious, and everything was clear and easy to locate. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make a large, complicated dinner and then spent a great night eating it by the fire (they even gave us firewood!) “ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Its was a treat staying here. Its out in the country. Its called a cabin but its more of a house. The bedrooms were perfect and the beds were comfy. The property had a pond, and a fire pit. We seen 3 deer as we were pulling into the driveway. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS RENTAL!!”
