“Huge living area, high ceilings. Quiet area of site. Very happy there other than the description of - everything you need to whip up meals or enjoy a cup of coffee. We took ground coffee expecting a cafetière, at least! There was one tiny sharp knife. Nothing to cut a loaf of bread. ”

“We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for cooking even for 12 people and we loved the fireplace and piano in the main living room. We didn't get out much due to storms……

“Only problem we had was the TV worked on the 1st day we arrived but then packed up with the tv saying there was no saying, we tried going to reception but was told that we needed to get in touch with whoever we booked with, we tried contacting them but they wanted to know so many questions that as we was only there for2 days we didn't bother as it was to much effortwe decidedq066”

“We had an absolutely brilliant time, staying at Dale and Nina’s. Really liked the decor of the house and the location is perfect. Everything worked well and no issues with parking close to the property as we arrived later in the day. Our children are 3 & 5 and loved the place too. We’ll defo be back, thanks for having us. ”

Monika was readily available for any questions we had. Check in was smooth. Local restaurants were good, we did book in advance. Would definitely stay here again. easy”
