“The appearance of the room looked clean, however we tried to run a bath and we could not get the tub to fill. When packing up to leave we noticed a there was a roach in the side table. Nice staff though. Looks like they may be remodeling some of the rooms. ”

“My grandsons (3 and 5) loved the size of the room and bathroom. Very spacious. The 14' ceilings made the space seem enormous. They loved the different shoes on the doors, so we took a tour to see them all. Then we decided which ones we liked best. A great way for them to unwind after being in a car seat for 2 hours. The diffuser was fabulous. We all loved that aspect of our stay. The complimentary breakfast and the shoebox delivery system was a real treat for them, also. They loved……

This is a special property that has been beautifully restored to include open space, modern conveniences and nice furnishings and decor. The Dutchess on Pearl retains the feeling and charm of the era it was built including original wood flooring. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked and common areas conducive to shared conversation. “This is a beautiful, well managed property in the heart of Lynchburg. The home is comfortable and very well appointed. The free parking in the rear is incredibly helpful. Our only quibble is that the house was pretty dusty, maybe we were the first renters in awhile.”
