“A beautiful place with rustic charm. It was a last-minute reservation, and I am very glad to have booked two nights. It isn't modern or flashy but, it is perfect for the riverside environment it inhabits. The host is very nice and works at making the common areas feel like home. “This little cottage is chock-full of character—thoughtfully decorated, cozy, and with an unbeatable view of the bay. “My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay in the bunkhouse in early March. Suzanne is a very generous and welcoming host -- thank you again for the delicious bottle of sauvignon blanc and other goodies! Communications with Suzanne were always clear and timely. “Donna, the owner, has stocked the unit with just about everything you would have at your finger tips at home. Games, wine bar, personal items; I could go on and on. She was also very responsive getting back to me when I had a question about the unit. I would not even consider looking for another unit if I return in the future!!!!”

“What a beautiful property! We loved our stay in Santa Rosa. We went with intentions on wandering the area for wineries and we think that this area is pretty well situated. Although it's not in Sonoma or Napa, like where many people stay, it wasn't far from most destinations. Including less than an hour to the beaches or enjoying the redwood trees. “My partner and I went up to get away and relax for a few days. Coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean in the morning, wine in the hot tub in the afternoon, and cuddles watching the sunset. Perfect way to spend each day.”

Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing

"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
