“This was the perfect little place for my husband, me and our dog Hank. Pamela is such a nice a gracious host! We had eveything and more that was needed for Hank and ourselves. Conveniently located to the bay, marina, ocean and town. We are already planning our next stay.”

“Cute cottage. The outdoor chairs in front were very old and worn out. The furniture by the hot tub was dirty from being under the trees but we used one of the sheets and it was fine. was dirty”

“Very nice riverfront property in a quiet neighborhood near Guerneville on the Russian River. View of the river off the back deck was quite scenic and the hot tub was an added pleasure.The interior was modern , clean and met all our needs. The drive to Santa Rosa was a bit longer than we’d like (About 30 minutes) but we got used to it. We would stay again if we go back to Sonoma county.”

“We absolutely loved our experience with this property! This was the most well stocked rental we've ever stayed in, we were really impressed with how the house had everything one could possibly need! The location is 10/10, and so are the views. The check in was very simple and the instructions on clean up were straightforward. The only feedback we have is the ants. There were a lot of them in the kitchen when we arrived, and we found ants in the bed, bathrooms, and on towels. It didn't bother us……

“Clean, spacious, and comfortable home. Behind the backyard fence is road so traffic can sound noisy at times. The morning was peaceful though wrong birds singing and a river water sound flowing. Beds and couch were comfortable.Somethings to know about the house. It was difficult to get to. Maps took us to the street behind the house and the road is fenced off and unable to turn in. So we had to take a road then turn on to the house road. The door did not lock when we closed it, you need to press……

“This house has amazing views and we loved spending time on the deck. It’s a gorgeous walk to Dillon Beach, where we spent the majority of our time.”

Loved entering the home with ambiance of the fireplace with the soothing screen saver on the TV. Much needed relaxing weekend away. I have no complaints and would definitely rent Whale Watch house again and again and again......I can't say enough. I've rented other houses in Bodega and by far this one was my favorite. “My husband and I were excited to drive up to this enchanting little home. The beautiful gardens welcomed us to a cozy, clean home with beautiful views of the beach below. We enjoyed the evening sunsets in the large hot tub on the back deck. The bed was very comfortable, linens were quality and towels were plush. We will be back! A happy couple on a birthday getaway”

“Great property. Beautiful location and views and beach. Hot tub is nice. Dishwasher did not work and kitchen equipment could be better. Also mattress in second bedroom was not comfortable and pillows were probably fine for kids, but not restful for middle aged parents. But we loved it because it’s a sweet little house and the owners obviously love it.”

Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing

"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
