“We really enjoyed our stay. Very dated, bare-bones lodging but the staff was friendly. Free breakfast included a made-to-order omelette station. The restaurant was lively on Friday and the food was fresh and cocktails nicely made. It was an older, chill crowd overall that was staying there during our visit. ”

“Room was ok. Carpet was “crunchy feeling” and bathroom had corners that may have not been cleaned in a very long time but the sheets seemed clean and the beds were relatively comfortable. The rooms need updating. Tried to get something to drink but only vending machines there were all out of order.”

“My husband and I celebrated 25 years of marriage at the Chanticleer. It was so quiet, relaxing and a much needed time of reconnection for us. The breakfast was delicious, delivered to our door every morning at the requested time. We highly recommend and would love to come back again! ”

“If I could do six stars I would. Booked the trip for my parents for their anniversary and they absolutely loved it. Clean sheets and beautiful cabin. “Our stay was wonderful and the front desk staff was extremely accommodating. The place is very family friendly with two pools, both heated! There's not much around the property, so for food you will need to drive. We were able to order delivery from the local town which was a bonus! Overall as a rendezvous point to explore Door County, this property can't be beat! ”
