“Holiday Inn was situated on hillside, at a decent residential area but far away from the city centre. My room was at 21st floor and I could had a bird's eyeview on the beautiful scenery of Porto. Yet, traffic was not convenient. We had to go down the slope a little bit for taxi. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. “Stayed here for two nights in a standard room with 3 twin beds. The room was bright, clean and pretty spacious. However, there was no available kettle and coffee/tea and you had to request for them at no charge. Breakfast was worth paying for with a substantial spread, although it could do better with faster top ups. What I loved best about this hotel was the location. "The hotel is located at a VERY nice point to overview the bridge Luis. It´s beautiful to have the sunrise and sunset sightseeing from the hotel. Our room was in the 12th floor, the bridge is at the 14th floor level of the hotel, the room wtih river side view is preferred! The breakfast is with plenty selection of food, the cheese board, the bread and the fruit varieties are not extremely large, but already good enough to a satisfactory breakfast. The metro is at the corner of the hotel, it’s convenient to take the public transportation to anywhere. There are also small restaurants near by, no problem with the kind of food at all. The only concern is the sound proof from the hall, when the children run or screaming at the corridor, and closing the room doors, the sound it really loud and annoying for the people who want to stay in room and have a rest."
