“The location is beautiful - a long frontage on Lake George. The condition of the property is, literally, pristine. I am not sure how it manages to be so perfectly maintained and still look like a traditional lake resort. We could not have been more pleased.”

“I have been traveling to Lake George for years as I love the beauty and activities of this area. Normally hotel stays are ok and nothing really wows me. Most need updating. I stayed at the Sundowner and was so pleased with everything! The rooms are updated and are decorated like adorable log cabins inside. The room was spotless and spacious! The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a small issue with air conditioning and they sent someone right away to fix it. Kima at reception desk……

“This is a great property. Initially we rented a large “suite” but immediately upgraded to one of their adorable cabins just across from the playground and pool. The property has super nice and accommodating staff, plenty of parking and really nice families staying there; some are regulars for 20, 40 years! This is truly a family stay place and we were so happy to have found it. Now we’re planning to return year after year! Two beautiful Adirondack chairs on a quiet little stoop outside of each……

“Very basic clean bed and heat or ac and the free breakfast was better than expected fresh fruit was a big plus no pancakes or waffles eggs bacon didn't expect it but toast muffins small pastry cold cereal and milk juice OJ and apple lot of different youguart all brand name fresh coffee whenever they needed more definitely a good way to start the day in a basic hotel call first if you have kids and want to use pool I came for the track about 25 min away maybe 20 with no traffic I went on biggest……
