“I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I was to stay here! Please read on to the end! I stayed in the Bavarian Haus for only one night, but enjoyed my stay. The room had a fridge and a microwave was available near my room. The breakfast had enough options to get me started for the day. The room was exceptionally quiet and I woke up to the sun rising over the lake (beautiful!). The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond for me as I checked out. “So, this is a very old property. That said, it is very well-maintained. I am of the mindset why not stay in a room that has knotty pine walls and mid Century modern furniture than the usual cookie cutter hotel. Parking is directly in front of your room door. It is 20 feet to walk to the lake front. It is a very nice walk up and down the lakeshore. There are geese and other water birds fishing in the morning, people with their dogs running along the shallows. Just the sort of vibe I want……
