“Beautiful place”

“Host was helpful. Minutes by foot from downtown and the beach. Weather was cool. House was comfortable. Kitchen had gas stove which was intimidating to us. Bathroom and large bedroom was on main level. Windows on main level were left unlocked, but the host said crime was low there. We locked them anyways. Two windows would not lock at all, notified host. Visit with family and friends was more relaxing than meeting at a restaurant. Very proud of my hometown. My husband did notice cobwebs……

“Great location, close to the water and an easy drive to downtown. The house was perfect for our family, would love to stay here again!”

“The property was great for our little getaway, our dog loved going in the water. We didn't have great weather but Doreen had the porch covered with a clear tarp and had the outdoor heaters on when we got there so we were able to enjoy the view. It was a short drive to Lexington which was perfect. Definitely would stay again.”

“This is a cute cottage that is nicely decorated and close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and loved the cute patio and the beautiful beach. The owners really thought of everything. Just wish we had better weather.”

“Everything was as discribed, place was well stocked. Although the cottage has a running theme of a beach house throughout, each room served a purpose, had a great use of space and it's own unique personality. Cookies and breakfast goods was a nice touch. The path to the beach was much closer then expected. ”

“By far the best feature of this home was easy access to the beach for my grandsons! It was a short and safe walk. The kitchen was efficient and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable and large. The layout required a lot of stair-climbings, but short trips. We had beautiful weather all week, but typical warm humid summer days made the lake water welcome!”

“This house is bigger inside than it appears at first sight. We instantly felt cozy and right at home as we walked through the front door. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. A big shout out to the housekeeping staff this house was SPOTLESS!!! We so appreciated it thank you!!. The only draw back was, there was so much cardboard and yard waste (too much to clean out) in the fire pit we were afraid to have a bonfire, because of the low tree branches right above it. Thank you Sam……
