“We traveled to Moms cabin from upstate NY for a family wedding in NC. It was a fabulous location, we had our 4 year old grandson with us and we were able to do morning and evening fishing which he loved! Loved the screened in porch, it was an excellent week of adventure.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this tranquil cabin. It is perfectly sized for a small family. It is very close to downtown Matthews but still feels like you are tucked away in natureThe only drawback was not having a few more cookware items to cook a full dinner for multiple people”

“This place was far more than I expected. At first I was like idk but then everywhere you look there is something awesome. From the inside as well as so much out side. We had my daughter’s 8th birthday here and I am glad. Thank you so much to Taylor my host was very easy and quick to respond thank you so much ”

“Firefly was a great venue for our annual family get-together! We had good weather and enjoyed the lake and large porch. The cabin provided extra space and additional sleeping options. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The dining table was large enough to seat the entire family! We highly recommend this property!”

“I had an awesome time in cabin #4! I enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake and had fun paddleboarding from the marina steps away. Although I was in the water with a snake swimming close by, I felt safe with many visitors nearby. The staff on property were friendly and helpful. The Friday night movie was a lot of fun and the firepit felt cozy and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ”
