“The cabin is absolutely lovely and had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time outside and in hammocks, thanks to ample outdoor space. It was so peaceful to be there - just what we needed for respite from the business of DC. We went hiking nearby in Lost River State Park, and had great pizza at Lost and Found Pizza. We will definitely be returning.”

“Grime under the rug, bugs in the light fixtures, 3 stink bugs on the blinds, spider webs in the over vent, and wasps in the 3rd bedroom - which had a bed and open storage for tools. Bug droppings in the mattresses and around the fireplace. We left immediately - this is not for a family that is used to being comfortable. We had to make alternate arrangements for coming to a wedding in the area.”

“My 26 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the High View Hideaway.  Although it dropped to 17 degrees during our visit, we were always comfortable.  The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our trip.  The cabin is a bit off the trail, but we knew that going in and we were easily able to find some nice local trails to explore.  The Big Schloss trail was our favorite.  Since we both work remotely, I should also mention that the WIFI worked just fine.……
