“The cabin was as advertised. The kitchen was stocked well with cookware and spices. The check in process was very simple. The Potomac scenic railroad is about 30 minutes away. It was a beautiful time of year with the fall colors to take the train through the Trough.”

“Great house in the privacy of the woods but still close by to tons of nearby places....lost river, wardensville, Seneca rocks, blackwater falls all just an easy drive. My family and I stayed for a long weekend over memorial Day and the house was just what we needed for a peaceful getaway. The decks, screened porches and hot tub were hits and the house had everything. Plenty of linens, towels, extras and they thought of everything... Even had condiments, coffee, sugar, flour, syrup... the kind of……

“Spacious home on the edge of Lost River State Park. Very convenient all of Lost River‘s amenities. We have stayed here several times and really love it.”

“It was a beautiful location tucked away in the woods by a river. The house sways like crazy with any movement but I think that is normal. It was very clean and had everything that I needed to cook with and coffee. The house is borderline infested with spiders. Could use some spray. I know its in the woods and bugs are to be expected but they could be contrlled a little better. Overall would stay again! ”

“We had a great time at this cabin. My brother's wedding was in a town nearby. We had family traveling from miles around. This home was cozy, clean and a comfortable fit for our families. We ended our weekend around the campfire.”
