“Description of house in listing was accurate. House was well stocked. Host was very accomodating and responsive to messages. Location was remote so nice for groups looking for a break away from the city, but still close enough to both Strasburg and Winchester which were great for shopping and events. Only request would be access to a washer/dryer (which we knew wouldnt be available from the listing) but just would be nice for convenience when you are staying for a good period of time.”

“You can really tell the house is cared for. It feels like a home. It had everything you could need. They have a well stocked kitchen and even supply snacks. The beds were very comfortable. The yard is huge with a stream behind it with a Great fire pit. I do recommend this property and will definitely go back”

“Cons: With service fees etc, cost over $1000 per night between Christmas and New Years. Driveway is very long and downhill to the house. Kitchen drawers and some cabinets were extremely overfilled and cluttered. Downstairs bathroom was clean but smelled bad, emanated to whole downstairs. Things like carpet, kitchen pans, some light fixtures were worn / wonky. Pros Hand, dish, and laundry soap included; paper towels, toilet paper too. Plenty of extra towels available. “Our place was way larger than expected! Very clean and fully stocked. Excellent prices. Their pool is amazing. Heated, salt water with the hot tub right next to it which made it easy to watch the kids swim. All staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the pool and activities close very early. Both nights it closed at 5. I would definitely stay here again. Luray caverns was a hit. ”
