“Ten Bits was a really neat place. Felt like walking into an old western movie but having all the modern amenities. Comfortable room with unbelievable views from the back porch. Sis was very responsive. Loved having access to a nice kitchen and dining area, although need an update on some pans. 10 minutes from Terlingua and about a 45-60 minute drive to the main part of Beg Bend park but easy, beautiful drive. Great place for group vacations. Don’t go during the summer. ”

“We absolutely love this place! Spacious solar powered cabin, fantastic views, close to Big Bend, nice meeting new folks in the communal kitchen, and dog friendly. I do have a few issues--both visits there was a lot of dust, fur, and small bits of trash under the beds. This time a wet, stained face towel greeted us in the bathroom. Second is the highly perfumed sheets. It would be great if you could find a perfume-free or neutral detergent. Last, on both visits we could not get the fireplace to……

“The location was great however the accommodations were not. The bed was hard and the room temperature was hot and cold all night. There is no room ( counter space) to put your things on. :(”
