“It was a beautiful spot with nice outdoor seating and a fun loft arrangement. A little disappointed at not realizing two full sets of steps down to the beach and high tide does not allow you to walk around the island. The water in the hot tub definitely needed to be changed and was unusable, however, when host was informed he took every action to correct. Deer was plentiful but no whales or seals were seen. ”

“Lovely place! Very comfortable and well appointed. The area is lovely as well. We had the opportunity to see all kinds of beautiful wildlife (seals, otters, birds) and enjoy the quiet mornings. Just be aware that the parties at the net shed can be somewhat loud and despite their obvious attempts to shut the party down by 10pm and respect the quiet hours, people didn’t actually clear out completely until about 11pm. We normally wouldn’t have minded but we had an early flight to catch so we were……

“We had never been glamping before; this getaway must be the perfect example of it! Every need was anticipated and met. The "cabin" is easy to get to, but feels miles away from the world. The site is tidy and thoughtfully laid out. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, but beware: it takes up almost all the floor space of the cabin. Communication with our host was excellent. “The boat was very inviting, clean and equipped with a nice coffee press, plush towels and plenty of dishware for a relaxing stay.The boat presented very well and had comfortable beds and linens for a sound and rejuvenating sleep.The location was ideal with parking onsite and plenty of shops, restaurants and breweries nearby within walking distance.I look forward to return visits in the near future, this as the Shamrockin is a special place.”
