“Pros: Very quiet, clean and comfortable. The bed was great (despite some other reviewers dislikes) and the check-in process was relatively easy. Just a short drive to Camden and Rockland and most everything is right off of the main road in both towns. Cons: There is a main office there, but they do not do anything with regards to reservations. “If you’re looking for a relaxing lakeside cabin to retreat and relax in nature, this is the one to book! Plenty of space for 6 adults with clean and comfortable rooms. Well stocked kitchen so you can cook up if you want. Lots of thoughtful extras and plenty of firewood. Canoes were lots of fun too! We didn’t want to leave. Also not far from Camden which is the perfect little seaside town. Highly recommend this place to anyone!”

“The property in Surry was just perfect for our use. The property is one of 3 manufactured homes on this property. The rental was clean, comfortable and perfect for the two of us. It is located on a quiet road and very drivable to many sightseeing attractions in the immediate area, Acadia NP being one of them. The AC came in handy during our stay as the weather was warm. The basic kitchen was good for us as we ate out every night. The washer and dryer were a good perk also. Overall a very good……

“Property was neat and clean. Provided with napkins tissues toiletries towels detergent basic kitchenette etc. it is located 10mins from Ellsworth and about 50 mins from acadia. Has bunk bed, small bed, futon and queen Size mattress. Has washer and dryer, which means reuse more and less to pack. It gets very dark in the night and can do star gazing. Overall worth it.”

It was well stocked and attention had been given to the details. “Loved our stay at Cabin Beaver! Cannot say enough good things about our stay. We went into the week expecting a great time but this place exceeded all of our expectations. Cabin is very well kept and well stocked with all the essentials. Loved our evening and morning sits over looking the lake listening to the loons and watching the bald eagles. Would highly recommend staying here!”

“Poperty is very private in location and absolutely amazing. House was very clean and well equipped for all needs. We hosted a couple of dinners in the dinniing room. “Excellent host! Great connections on the island for everything. Great information on Ferry status, etc. Cabin is truly rustic, spartan appointments as described. Great location and view west with good weather. Bring your goodies, luxuries from the mainland. Lobsters are available tho!”
