This is your place.Be sure to have the directions and the full address before you go. You cannot rely on a pin drop on a map to get you there (you'll incorrectly drive down a long, rock road for nothing). If you get into the area without fully knowing exactly how to get there, you may not have cell phone reception,……

“We stayed for 7 days. Pretty nice place but we are older and both have some challenges with walking, so the hill leading to the back of the house was a challenge and the one down to boat dock was even more of if a challenge.We rented pontoon which was nice to take out on lake. This would be a nice place to bring your kids and grandchildren. It was nice to have the option to grill so we didn’t have to eat out all the time. There was plenty of bath towels and washcloths but only 2 hand towels and……

“We had a lovely, restful and relaxing time at Bear Cabin. The river was cool and clear but the embankment was a little steep. Nothing unmanageable. We booked this cabin for the screen porch and it did not disappoint! Morning coffee on the porch was perfect. We spent most of our time porch sitting and enjoying nature. The cabin is quaint and the kitchen is well stocked. We hope to be back! ”

“This is the perfect lake house for your stay on Lake Thunderbird. We go as a family every year, staying in different homes over the years. This is by far in my top 3 and we've been coming to Cherokee Village for 10 years. The homeowner was very accommodating and quick to respond. ”

The property golf cart was very useful to explore the huge 470 acres. We loved the White River and Rocky Bayou and the cayak, canoe and flatboat. It's a long drive on the gravel/dirt road to get there but well worth it.”
