“We had a lovely, restful and relaxing time at Bear Cabin. The river was cool and clear but the embankment was a little steep. Nothing unmanageable. We booked this cabin for the screen porch and it did not disappoint! Morning coffee on the porch was perfect. We spent most of our time porch sitting and enjoying nature. The cabin is quaint and the kitchen is well stocked. We hope to be back! ”

“The property was as advertised. Everything was clean and in a peaceful location. We were a bit surprised at the size of the "lake" as it ended up being more of a pond. We did take the kayaks out but the water is pretty nasty and not ideal for swimming or fishing. That was all fine though because thr purpose of our trip was to float the Spring River. Overall a great stay and i would return.”

You cannot rely on a pin drop on a map to get you there (you'll incorrectly drive down a long, rock road for nothing). If you get into the area without fully knowing exactly how to get there, you may not have cell phone reception,……

“Had a wonderful time. We came to float the Spring River. The property was beautiful. The lake was picture perfect. Kayaks on the property were fun! I caught a couple of bass and bluegills! The porch that wraps around the house is so nice for grilling and drinking your coffee first thing in the morning! We loved the goose and her duck friends! Definitely worth the stay! ”
